New Porsche Macan Electric

The new Porsche Macan EV is currently available in two trim levels, each delivering unique performance capabilities. No matter which you choose, you'll enjoy a smooth and powerful dual-motor electric powertrain, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), and the confidence of all-wheel drive.

The standard SUV is the Macan 4 Electric, which generates peak outputs of 402 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. The use of Launch Control, included with the Macan 4 Electric, allows the SUV to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 4.9 seconds. It's an inspiring companion when the road gets twisty, too, thanks to wheel sizes up to 22 inches in diameter and features like PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management).

Stepping up to the Macan Turbo Electric unlocks the full potential of this sporty SUV. Enjoy up to 630 horsepower and 833 pound-feet of torque. All this power turns the curvaceous Macan Electric into a spaceship, blasting off from zero to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds and boasting a top speed of 161 mph. The Macan Turbo Electric also offers impressive handling and braking technologies, including but not limited to an air suspension, six-piston fixed brake calipers, and an electronically-controlled rear-axle differential lock.

Charging and range.

Electric Macan models utilize a 100 kWh lithium-ion battery with zero emissions and immediate torque delivery. Both models are capable of DC charging up to 270 kW, allowing drivers to charge from 10 to 80 percent state of charge within 21 minutes in ideal conditions. Even in 400-volt charging conditions, the Macan Electric can perform the same feat in as little as 33 minutes.

The EPA doesn't have an official estimate for the Macan Electric range yet. However, the Macan 4 Electric offers up to 367 miles of range when tested using the European WLTP testing standard. The Macan Turbo Electric will likely offer less in exchange for considerably more power.
